Insurance coverage designed to protect contractors for projects completed on our platform. (“protectmii”) ensures that every eligible project completed through the Bidmii platform is covered for
commercial general liability.
for contractors*
("protectmii") is tailored to your unique business needs. Whether you're accepting a project through our platform or using Bidmii's quoting and payment system for your own jobs, we’ve got your back. ("protectmii") is intended for projects completed in Canada, excluding Quebec.

primary liability coverage: $2,000,000 limit for bodily injury and property damage.
•
affordability: Did we mention, eligible contactors do not have to pay for insurance coverage?
•
exclusively for Bidmii users: Benefit from a unique product developed by Intact Insurance just for Bidmii.
•
activities: Insurance coverage does not apply for certain activities. Please refer to the following
list of excluded activities for more information.

insurance badge: Bidmii users can identify contractors that are eligible for (“protectmii”).
for homeowners
when you post a project on Bidmii, you're not just getting competitive bids from multiple contractors; you're also getting peace of mind.

insured contractors: Homeowners can identify and select contractors eligible for insurance through protectmii.

covered projects: Projects accepted and completed through Bidmii may be covered, subject to the following list of excluded activities and certain Terms and Conditions.
requirements
•
Have a minimum of 3 years of experience
•
No more than 1 claim in the past 5 years
•
Proper licensing and insurance proof for specific trades (electricians, plumbers, and gas fitters must be licensed through their province's Board or College of Trades )
•
Obtains proof of insurance for any subcontractors used when completing work contracted through the platform.

Insurance is underwritten by the Intact Insurance Company. Certain conditions, limitations and exclusions
apply. The basic coverage summary provided to you is for informational purposes only. Bidmii’s
insurance policy under which the Coverage is offered will prevail at all times.
