Bidmii Launches in Toronto

TORONTO, April 15, 2022 - Bidmii today announced the Toronto launch of its free digital marketplace platform that streamlines the home renovation process of bidding and paying from home improvement projects.

“We’re very excited to bring the Bidmii platform to Toronto and fill the need for a safe and secure way for homeowners to get their projects done, and for honest and hardworking contractors to build their businesses,” said Jon Christensen, CEO of Bidmii. “Our platform brings the fragmented renovation industry together to make home renovation challenges and horror stories a thing of the past.”

To celebrate the Toronto launch, Bidmii will be giving away a complete spring yard cleanup for one lucky street in Toronto. Homeowners can nominate their street by visiting the Bidmii booth  at the National Home Show taking place at the Enercare Centre between April 15 to 24. 

“As a disruptor in the home renovations industry, we make the renovation process easy, from start to finish, for both the homeowner and the contractor,” says Christensen. “Homeowners simply share photos and details of their project and then connect with local pros who bid on the project. Contractors easily connect with qualified homeowners, allowing them to focus on getting the job done and building their business. Once both parties agree on the right price, the payment gets held in trust until the job is completed.”

As part of the Toronto rollout, Bidmii has also launched its first television advertising campaign with three 15-second spots featuring home renovations expert and the host of HGTV’s Scott’s Vacation House Rules, Scott McGillivray. The spots, which humorously depict the ease of using the Bidmii platform to get home renovation projects done quickly and efficiently, air on HGTV and Global TV starting on April 17.
