This month, Bidmii is dedicating our contractor spotlight to Will! Will is a one-stop shop for all your electrical needs. Will is located in Bradford, Ontario where he’s been an electrician for over 10 years.
When we asked Will what inspired him to go into his field he said, “I've always enjoyed working with my hands, so I knew a trade was the way to go. I just had more of a passion for electrical work, and the rest is history.”
Just a little over a year ago, Will decided to start his own business Jory Electric Ltd., made up of licensed electricians that specialize in residential and commercial settings. Jory Electric Ltd. can tackle any kind of project — from adding a few lights to creating a whole new custom lighting scheme for your home!
Will named his company name “Jory” after a combination of the names of his children. He is honoured to be able to display how proud he is to be their father everyday. Will’s favourite part about his job is when a client expresses their overall satisfaction for the project he had just completed for them. He says, “Hearing someone tell you you've made them happy, even if it's just a small job, is the best feeling”.
Will discovered Bidmii when he received a call from our Customer Success team, and was immediately on board when he learned that it would be a great opportunity to drive more business to his company. He likes how he gets a brief overview of the project and some pictures, before he decides to communicate with the client. He says, “It's a nice and secure way to communicate, get all the information, provide a quote, and make sure that both the client and contractor are satisfied with the job at the end of the day”. His favourite part about Bidmii is knowing that the transfer of funds for when a project is completed is secure and guaranteed.
Will’s favourite trend is smart technology in homes. He loves the ability to automate anything from turning your lights on and off to security cameras and video doorbells. He finds it fascinating how you can control these things as long as you have WiFi.
